 Regulators

In pursuing its activities K●A●CARE fully recognizes the role of both national and international regulators, be they social, economic or directly related to the sectors in which it is becoming involved.
Thus, nationally K●A●CARE looks to the Council of Ministers, the Shura Council and to relevant Ministries and other government agencies for help and guidance: in the field of investment, the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority, the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, and Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC); with regards to water, the Saline Water Conversion Corporation; and for electricity, the Electricity and Co-generation Regulatory Authority (ECRA) and the Saudi Electricity Company. As other oversight bodies are formed so K●A●CARE will liaise with them on a mutually beneficial basis.

Internationally, K●A●CARE liaises with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), and with the governments of those countries closely involved in nuclear power generation.
