King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (K.A.CARE) makes open data available to all users through its website, the National Open Data Portal, or both. Open data is provided in machine-readable formats and is updated annually. Comprehensive open data is provided with the highest level of disclosure. Open data is accessible to all users without the need to login, and all open data is provided free of charge.
Open Data General Guidelines
Open data is classified based on its expected benefit, taking into account accuracy, currency, consistency, and potential users who may benefit from the data. Prepared data is published according to priority and significance through K.A.CARE’s website or the National Open Data Portal, or both, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and regular updates. In the final stage, the usage and performance of open data are monitored, and new data requests are analyzed to reorganize the data according to actual needs.
Freedom of Information Key Principles and General Guidelines
Data is made available to all users of K.A.CARE’s portal to promote participation and knowledge enhancement. Users are encouraged to review the data usage policy to remain informed of any updates. All open data available on the portal in intended for informational purposes. Users have the right to access and use open data at their own responsibility, this right is guaranteed to all beneficiaries and the data is provided free of charge.
