The U.S. President Barak Obama has received at the White House State Leaders and Representatives attending the Nuclear Security Summit at a working dinner served on the occasion.
The reception and working dinner was attended by the Saudi Delegation Head Dr. Hashim Abdullah Yamani, President of King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy. This Summit was preceded by three more Summits held, consecutively, in Washington in 2010, in Seoul in 2012 and Hague in 2014.
It is noteworthy that the present Summit will be focused on such important issues as strengthening nuclear security, prevention of terrorists and criminals from possession of nuclear material that can be used in nuclear weapons and other radioactive materials that can be used in terrorist acts.
Among issues on the Summit agenda are also nuclear disarmament, non-proliferation and peaceful uses of nuclear power. Assertion that measures taken to further enhance nuclear security shall not hinder the rights of states to the development and use of nuclear energy for peaceful objectives.
