As part of the FEED (Front End Engineering design) project in cooperation with Supplier candidates (USA, France, Korea, Russia, China) for adapting a Standard Plant Design to the KSA conditions and requirements and minimize risks associated with the Contractual approach. Following to the RFI (Request For Information) document that was released to all technology suppliers for the purpose of building the first two large nuclear power plants in the kingdom, K.A.CARE is arranging for RFI discussion meetings with all potential suppliers to discuss the RFI document and address any concerns or questions the suppliers may have. Continuing of conducting RFI discussion meetings, K.A.CARE meets the Korean side represented by KEPCO on 15 of November 2017. During the meeting, K.A.CARE had the opportunity to present the national Saudi atomic Energy Project and clarify all sections of the RFI document. In addition, K.A.CARE explained the steps and purpose of the competitive dialogue CD process as well as learning more about the company technology, its latest references on NPP construction and previous experiences.
