 King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (K.A.CARE) signs an agreement with Tibah University

Within the framework of the King's initiative for energy in Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah area as one of the components of the national transformation program for finding renewable and clean energy resources through exploiting sources of solar radiation orthogonal which characterizes Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah and considered one of the highest global rates which makes it suitable to build solar power plants that operate by thermal technology focus, add to its appropriateness to stations that operate by PV technology and the possibility of generating electricity from underground.  In line with the vision of the Kingdom in 2030 and under the auspices of Prince Faisal Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz, The Prince of Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah province and in the presence of K.A.CARE president Dr. Hashem Abdullah Yamani, Dr. Waleed Hussain Abualfaraj, the K.A.CARE Vice-President  and Dr. Mahrous Ahmed Al Ghabban, Director of Taibah University, commissioned to a joint cooperation program between   K.A.CARE and Taibah University, signed a joint cooperation program on Thursday 11th of Ramadan 1437H between K.A.CARE and Taibah University.

This program comes within the framework of K.A.CARE contribution to diversifying energy sources through the use of advanced techniques for alternative energy that could achieve sustainability by using modern sciences, researches and studies, also through the creation of industrial partnerships and technical developments.  Due to the attention K.A.CARE pays to the importance of cooperation and partnerships with educational sectors and other governmental authorities and the private sector in the scope of executing programs and applied researches and industrial development and transformation and localization of technology and knowledge in the scope of energy, also this program meets the goals and aspirations of Taibah University in playing an active and influential role to achieve its vision of leadership and excellence in the educational and research process and community service to participate in building a society and knowledge economy, and its message for the sake of quality education and research excellence aiming at developing and servicing the community through an attractive learning environment and a pioneering community partnership leading to the optimum use of available resources according to best practices and technical services.  The joint cooperation program between the two parties focusses on the integrity of the tasks of each of them in the scopes of atomic and renewable energy and covers various areas in atomic and renewable energy and the programs of research and development in the areas of atomic and renewable energy to become applied researches directed to developing the techniques and applications of atomic and renewable energy in the Kingdom.
