King Abdullah City for Atomic & Renewable Energy and King Abdulaziz University signed a memorandum of understanding, where H.E. the Vice-President, Dr. Waleed Bin Hussain Abulfaraj represented K.A.CARE and HE King Abdulaziz University Director/ Abdulrahman Bin Obaid Al-Youbi represented King Abdulaziz University. The signing of the MOU is in support of the objectives of the National Transformation Program and aims to achieve the aspirations of the Kingdom's vision 2030 through cooperation between K.A.CARE and the University in an effort to develop human capabilities in both the scopes of atomic and renewable energy. It is worth mentioning that the Kingdom, through the National Transformation Program and recently adopted atomic energy programs and initiatives, seeks to develop human capacities in the fields of atomic and renewable energy to qualify Saudi cadres in order to fill the market need with the scientifically qualified required staff. K.A.CARE in cooperation with King Abdulaziz University has dispatched this summer more than 34 university students from nuclear engineering students at King Abdulaziz University and the physics section from King Fahad University to a number of elite international institutes in France and Korea to train them in the scope of atomic energy and to qualify them to contribute to the development of their abilities to work in this area after graduation.
