The Vice President of K.A.CARE Dr. Waleed Abulfaraj received this evening the 9th of Rabi II 1437H (19th January 2016G) the Japanese Minister of Economy and Commerce Mr. Yosuke Takagi and his accompanying delegation where ways of joint cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Japan in the fields of atomic and renewable energy were discussed.  Also were reviewed in the meeting the aspirations of K.A.CARE and the strategy of diversifying sources of energy in the Kingdom.

On the other hand the two sides stressed the importance of moving forward towards signing a joint cooperation agreement in the peaceful uses of atomic energy in the light of what has been recently approved by the Saudi Council of Ministers.

Afterwards the two sides touched on the next steps towards strengthening ways of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of atomic and renewable energy.
