This morning, Wednesday 29 October 2014, Dr. Waleed Abulfaraj, KACARE’s Vice-President received in his office at KACARE’s HQ, Mr. Simon Kennedy, the Canadian Deputy Minister of International Trade, Canada’s Representative to the G-20 at the Canadian Foreign Ministry and International Trade. Present at the meeting was a number of KACARE’s high ranking officials. On the Canadian side, the Canadian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Commercial Representative also attended the meeting during which KACARE’s activities and ongoing projects in the field of renewable energy have also been reviewed. After that, various aspects of potential mutual cooperation were discussed.
On the sideline of the visit, a meeting was arranged between KACAR’s officials and a number of Canadian concerned companies. The two sides exchanged ideas and views on renewable energy-related mutual cooperation aspects and reviewed ways and means of potential cooperation.
