Dr. Hashim Abdullah Yamani, the President of King Abdullah City for Atomic & Renewable Energy received today, Wednesday 19 Rabi’ II 1435 corresponding to 19 February 2014 the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Argentine Mr. Hector Timerman and his accompanying delegation currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The two sides discussed ways and means to enhance the mutual cooperation between the two countries in the field of Atomic and Renewable Energy. The Argentinian delegation also paid a visit to the Mishkat Interactive Exhibition which stimulates and depicts the future energy in the Kingdom.

It is worth mentioning that on 26 Rajab 1432, corresponding to 28 June 2011 the Kingdom signed in Riyadh a Joint Cooperation Convention with the Republic of Argentine in the field of peaceful uses of Nuclear Energy.
