The President of King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE) Dr. Hashim Abdullah Yamani received on Sunday 23/6/1436 a delegation from the Azerbaijani National Council headed by the President of the Azeri Parliamentary Adalah Group Mr. Fattah Heydarov. The Azeri Delegation is on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at an invitation of the Consultative “Shoura” Council. The two sides discussed avenues for mutual cooperation in the field of atomic energy for peaceful uses and alternative energies, as well as the development thereof into such areas of mutual interest for both countries.
The meeting was attended by their Excellency Mr. Abdullah Al Nassir and Mr. Mohammed Al Mutairi, members of the Consultative Council, and a number of KACARE’s officials concerned. At the meeting the Azerbaijani National Council was represented by Mr. Fattah Heydarov the Chair of the Azeri-Saudi Friendship Group and Mr. Hussein Akbarov, Assistant to the Head of Azeri-Saudi Parliamentary Friendship Group, Mr. Taimour, Advisor at the Court of the Azerbaijani National Council, as well as representatives from the Azeri Embassy to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
