The President of K.A.CARE Dr. Hashem Abdullah Yamani received on Thursday evening (24 Shabban 1436H / June 11th 2015) HE the Japanese Ambassador to the Kingdom Mr. Noriheiro Okoda. A number of officials from both K.A.CARE and the Japanese embassy attended the meeting which began with a comprehensive overview of what K.A.CARE is currently doing, as well as the projects K.A.CARE will work on in the future. After that the President of K.A.CARE and the Japanese Ambassador discussed ways of cooperation between the two countries in the areas of atomic energy in peaceful uses, as well as the areas of renewable energy. The President welcomed his guests and praised the technical developments achieved by Japan and the cooperation between the Kingdom and Japan in the areas concerned with atomic and renewable energy and the aspiration to working on moving it to wider horizons.
