 King Abdullah City K.A.CARE for Atomic & Renewable Energy organizes a graduation ceremony for the graduates of the cooperative training program in the French Institute for nuclear energy

K.A.CARE threw a ceremony on the occasion of the graduation of 24 students from the program of development of  necessary skills related to nuclear engineering organized by K.A.CARE for a number of Saudi cadres from the students of engineering at King Abdulaziz University in cooperation with the French International Institute for Nuclear Energy (I2EN) which aims at building knowledge and implementation in nuclear projects.

The ceremony was attended by K.A.CARE President Dr. Hashem Abdullah Yamani, Dr. Waleed AbulFaraj, the French Ambassador to the KSA, the French Cultural Attache’ and a number of officials from the French International Institute for Nuclear Energy and  K.A.CARE.

The program continued for 7 weeks in the French Capital, Paris in additional to visiting a number of sites in some other French cities.

The training program was based on style simulate the operation of nuclear reactors, the trainees also visited a number of nuclear reactors, as well as a practical training  in radiation laboratories.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates to the graduates who expressed their thanks and appreciation for the support and enhancement of skills in the specialties of atomic and renewable energy by K.A.CARE.  

On the other hand King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable energy K.A.CARE seeks to become the effective strategic partner of all business sectors  through achievement of K.A.CARE strategic and operational goals in the development of a comprehensive and coherent  strategy for human resources that covers the main axes of its activities through training and developing employees to promote the level of performance and productivity to subscribe in achieving K.A.CARE goals amongst which attracting best cadres holders of qualifications and different specialties and providing suitable training for the employees in the different needed specialties according to the needs and requirement of K.A.CARE in addition to finding programs that aim at graduating a group of proficient competencies capable of carrying out different initiatives.

In terms of agreements in the scope of developing national cadres, K.A.CARE has previously signed a cooperation agreement in the scope of employment with the Ministry of Education “ your job – your Scholarship” regarding scholarships in the disciplines suit the needs of K.A.CARE requirements to occupy jobs with it.

This agreement signed by K.A.CARE’s President Dr. Hashim Abdullah Yamani on behalf of K.A.CARE and Minister of Education Dr. Azzam Al Dakheil  on behalf of the Ministry of Education, comes within the efforts of finding an effective partnership in the field of scholarships and employment between the ministry and the corporations and authorities in the public sector.

This agreement came within the directives of His Majesty King Salman Bin Abdulaziz in benefitting from the capabilities of young Saudi males and females through finding suitable jobs for them in their scope of specialties mainly in the field of renewable energy, noting that KSA will be focusing in the  coming years on sustainable and renewable energy.
