Dr. Hashim Abdullah Yamani, KACARE’s President, received in his office Wednesday morning, 24 Dul Hijjah 1436 corresponding to 7 October 2015 His Excellency the Mayor of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah and a number of officials at Al-Madinah Mayoralty in the presence of KACARE’s high ranking officials.
Both sides discussed ways and means of cooperation already agreed upon in the field of renewable energy, as well as a number of other energy-related issues.
On the other hand, KACARE’s Vice-President Dr. Waleed Abolfaraj Waleed Hussein Abolfaraj met Dr. Khalid Abdulkadir Tahir Almadinah Al-Munawwarah Area Deputy Mayor to discuss and follow up on certain major topics highlighted in the agreement already reached and signed between KACARE and Almadinah Al-Munawwarah Area Mayoralty in Rajab during the 5th World Conference, i.e. “Cities Environment” which was held in Almadinah Al-Munawwarah. They also touched upon on the best ways and means to achieve on time the objectives specified in the said Agreement. It is probably in place to remind that the said Agreement is targeted at conducting a joint study aimed at the integrated development of renewable energy mix for Almadinah Almunawwarah Area, with special attention to the measurement of renewable energy sources, development of solutions and stations of renewable energy, development of relevant technical education and training , and finally the development of those industries and services related to renewable energy in Almadinah Almunawwarah Area.
