Dr. Hashim Abdullah Yamani, the President of King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE), chaired on Wednesday 12th of Rabi' I 1437H the first meeting of the KACARE's Board of Directors at the HQs of the City in Riyadh. KACARE's membership is constituted of a number of Governmental entities concerned.
The Board's membership has discussed several issues of particular concern to the mandate and functions of King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy. Other agenda issues included achievements of KACARE over the past years, its future plans and projects in the pipeline but of particular interest to the Government of the
Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz. The Kingdom's future aspirations inasmuch as peaceful uses of atomic and renewable energy are concerned also ranked high on the agenda. Appropriate resolutions were taken as regards issues and tasks of particular concern to KACARE were made.
