The President of King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy Dr. Hashim Abdullah Yamani received in his office today morning, Wednesday 26 Rabi' I, 1437 corresponding to 6 January 2017 Mr. Ali Yacoub, the Djibouti Minister of Energy and Designate Minister of Natural Wealth.  A number of high-level officials at KACARE attended the reception party.  In addition, the Djibouti delegation was also accompanied by the Djibouti Ambassador in Riyadh, Mr. Diyaoddin ba Khormah.

The meeting reviewed issues of mutual interest, namely KACARE's activities and strategic plans devised to provide and utilize alternative energy.  The two sides also discussed mutual cooperation of both countries in the sphere of alternative energy and utilization thereof in the production of electricity, water desalination and the development of nuclear power applications in such fields as agriculture and medicine.
