K.A.CARE participates, among the Saudi Delegate, in the 19th symposium of the Conference of Parties members to the United Nations Frame Agreement regarding Climate Changes to be held in Poland during the period from 7 to 18 Muharram corresponding to 11 to 22 November 2013.

Engineer. Amr Saleh Al Madani, executive manager of the Mishkat Interactive Center, one of the K.A.CARE initiatives presents a demonstration under the address “Building the Renewable and Sustainable Sector in the Kingdom” within the symposium of Sustainable Energy to be held at the GCC delegation’s headquarters in Warsaw City, Poland in the afternoon of Friday, November 2013.

Engineer. Amr presents the City’s vision in the development of a sustainable sector for renewable energy in the Kingdom, as the Kingdom is witnessing an accelerated growth and an increase in the demand on electricity and desalinated water. With the rise of the average of population growth, consumption of low cost electricity and desalinated water increases. According to governmental estimates, the expected demand on electricity in the Kingdom will exceed 120 Giga Watt in 2023.

To accomplish the development of a program with high generation and guaranteed capabilities of energy, and the development of knowledge, skills and technical expertise needed for it, K.A.CARE endeavors to develop the resources of a mix of renewable and atomic energy in a sustainable manner that permits the preservation of the Kingdom’ dwindling resources of oil and gas for the benefit of future generations. Upon completion of this vision, the Kingdom realizes its important role as an internationally main source of energy, in the same time it secures the Kingdom’s future and its resources of energy.

Contribution to upgrading local economic growth and provision of employment opportunities to Saudis and developing their skills and expertise is one of the most important aspects of sustainability in the City’s suggestions about introducing sustainable energy to the system of local energy in the Kingdom. For that the City will work on investing in the technical solutions, scientific research and human development through education and training inside the kingdom and abroad and transference of knowledge and experience to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
