 Merger of 50 employees into KACARE’s staff

Within the framework of agreement reached between King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy on the transfer of domains as provided for by the Regulations of King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy, the City received staff members of the National Radiation Protection Center, the National Center for Radioactive Waste Management, Center for Atomic Energy Research Institute, Nuclear Regularity Unit. The employees altogether have been merged under the umbrella of Atomic Energy Sector. The number of employees so merged into the organizational structure of the City totaled fifty employees of high know-how and expertise. The event was attended by the President of King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy, Dr. Hashim Yamani and the President of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, Dr. Mohammad Alsowayyil. High ranking officials from both sides also attended the event.

It is noteworthy that both Cities are equally important as they share a common ground in terms of research and scientific activities which boosts the trends of the Saudi Government to invest in the renewable energy. Hence came the merger of synergies upon the consent of both parties, coupled with King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy’s being the organization entrusted with the research of Atomic Energy and applications thereof in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
