4/14/2014

King Abdullah City for Atomic & Renewable Energy (KACARE) in its capacity as a permanent member of the Saudi Arabian Grid Code Supervisory Committee (GCSC) and as the authority managing the atomic and renewable energy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is hosting the “second” three-days’ workshop (14-16 April 2014) for the grid code committee and various stakeholders. This workshop will address vital topics such as the need to upgrade Grid Code contents with a view to pave the way for the Kingdom’s strategy with respect to atomic and renewable energy, as well as to ensure maintaining or even enhancing the stability and reliability of the Saudi Grid.

It is noteworthy that this workshop is an extension to the “first” workshop organized under the patronage of KACARE on Wednesday 26 February 2014, that discussed with a presence of various stakeholders and business partners the same topic.
