Mishkat interactive exhibition presented, one of KA CARE initiatives , The Wamda program/ the interactive program to simplify energy sciences, which consists of workshops to train science teachers for the intermediate stage on activities and class experiments that enable them to simplify the science subject to students and make it more attractive through the students interaction with it. Considering the teachers effect on their students during this stage, and their interest in tracks that might shape their professional life, the activities were designed in a manner that makes it easy for the teachers to procure its tools from the local market and applying it repeatedly in the class in cooperation with Exploratorium Museum in San Francisco City, USA .
The program aims at enlarging the circle of scientific effect on students through enabling a generation of teachers, male and females, to simplify science concepts in general and the atomic and renewable energy in particular. This is achieved through training teachers on using the skills of communicating science to students in simple ways, interactive and unconventional through using materials that could be easily procured from the local market.
Because we know that the teacher is the success partner of Mishkat interactive exhibition and for the sake of continuous relation between us the electronic gate of the Wamda program was activated to support the continuation of the learning experience inside the school. This is done through inviting teachers to participate in the training workshops to join this gate which includes the different learning resources about energy and pages to discuss and exchanging experience.
