5/19/2014

“Mishkat at your School” is one of the educational programs introduced by the “Mishkat Interactive Center for Atomic and Renewable Energy” – one of the varied Initiatives sponsored by King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE). It is a program purposefully designed to serve as a regular and a welcome visitor of those schools students of which cannot visit the Center, either for reasons having to do with transportation or for other obstacles or hindrances. Motivated by a major objective thereof to disseminate awareness of sustainable energy sciences, the” Mishkat at Your School” , program has been developed and launched. The objective is to transfer the experiences learned by the Mishkat Interactive Center to schools, and explain and demonstrate the principles and concepts of the atomic and renewable energy. To this end, a number of highly informative exhibits and tools are being utilized. Examples are exhibit named “Energy Around us”, “Volta Exhibit”, “El Nano” Exhibit, etc. Ever since this Program was launched in the middle of the current academic semester, the number of those students, males and females, who have been accessed in private and public schools totaled about 1463 students.
